<p>If you are a vegetarian there are ways to eat healthy but also ways to eat an unbalanced and unhealthy diet. The standard food pyramid may not apply to you as far as how much meat you should be eating each day, but meat substitutes which include iron and protein are perfectly fine. Balance is still the key when looking at a days worth of food. Fruits, vegetables, dairy, whole grains, protein and healthy portions of fat are all part of your new diet.</p>
<p>Restraint. Your new diet may feel like a free pass to eat all of the cheese and sweets that you want but you won&#8217;t find a healthier version of you in an extra cheese pizza even if does have vegetables on top. You&#8217;ll still have to eat your favorite fatty foods and sweet treats sparingly. If you want to eat more fruits and vegetables raw is always a good choice but eating them topped with spices and herbs in fun combinations can be both delicious and healthy.</p>
<p>Exercise. Exercise is a great choice to combat extra weight gain. It&#8217;s also great for relieving stress and staying flexible. No matter what your weight is, it&#8217;s ideal to exercise several times a week. Even walking promotes heart health and stimulates the release of those feel good endorphins.</p>
<p>Before you ever make a drastic change in your diet or lifestyle do a little research and consult with your healthcare provider on what might be best for you. Fewer unhealthier foods and an increased variety in healthy foods can make a difference in how you&#8217;re feeling and looking everyday. Make some changes you can stick with and you&#8217;ll be the best you can be everyday, your whole life long.</p>

	Current figures show that 116 millions Americans are living with pain. 66% of Americans are overweight and 33% are OBESE.&nbsp; In a recent study, the CDC estimates that by 2030, 42% of Americans will be obese- 11% of those obese will be considered SEVERELY obese, which is defined as <strong>ONE HUNDRED POUNDS </strong>overweight.</p>
<p>
	The health care costs associated with this rapidly increasing epidemic? An estimated <strong>$550 BILLION </strong>dollars. <em>MIND BOGGLING.</em></p>
<p>
	The time is now. It is time for us to take back control of our lives. It starts with <strong>HEALTH</strong> and it continues through<strong> WELLNESS</strong>.</p>
